After failing to get another ring in or taper successfully in a timely fashion, I visited a piercer. It has closed up and I need to be have it redone. The initial ring was a bit to small he felt if it had been larger I would have been able to put it back in with no problem. I also removed it to soon, 4 months was not long enough. He has suggested I go with a 6 gauge right off and wear it for a full year with out removing it. I will be discussing this with my Alpha, Sissy Megan, in the up coming days and we will pick the right time.

Tonight I fully got the 14g taper through to the tip with out scratching my urethrae. I was able to get a 12g in as well and almost to the tip, I started to get some serous pinching and think maybe the piercing is to vertical and not enough horizontal. I originally had an 8g ring in but between the time I removed it and when I was able to taper, I think the inside might have closed up some. I am able to get my 8g taper in but when I get to about where the inside would be I get some sharp push back, so the tip of the 8g taper goes in easy but then hits some hard resistance and sharpness. I have ordered a 10g curved taper in hopes that will open things up a bit more and prevent the accidental scratching. Now that I am healed and that I can easily go into the tapers, I will be doing this nightly until I can easily get back to my original 8g, then I will put my original ring back in for a bit. Any advice is welcome, and I am going slowly.

Tonight after 2 weeks with out my 8 gauge ring in I started using my tapering kit.

I started with a 14 gauge taper so I could find the hole first and get it warmed up for larger tapers. It took a bit for me to find the hole and get the taper going but eventually I was able to get it in.

I reached for my phone to take a picture, proud to have gotten it through however my hand holding the tip of my nub slipped and the taper scrapped the top of my urethrae causing me lots of pain and some blood. Won’t be doing that again. In a few days after the nub heals, I will try again. This time I will be more careful, and setup the camera in advance so it is ready by voice command to take the photo and I can keep my hands on tight. 😀 More to come.
